i looking for a christian band thats sounds like linkin park or fall out boy.
i like alot christian rock but most of it is not edgey enuff or is to edgey for me. i know run kid run sound alot like fall out boy.
plz dont say rock music is a sin, i dislike it when ppl say stuff like that.

If you like Linkin Park and Fallout Boy, why not just listen to Linkin Park and Fallout Boy?

Hello fellow rocker,
I don't listen much to secular rock bands and in my opinion, it's best not to as a christian.
Now I dont personally listen to fallout boy and linkin park, but I have an idea of how they sound like.
But for bands that pretty much sound like Fall Out Boy:
Bands - Songs that I like from them
Run Kid Run - We've only just begun, Sing to me
Hawk Nelson - take me
Falling Up - goodnight gravity, broken heart
Everyday Sunday -let's go back, find me tonight, wake up, wake up
Nevertheless - the real, perfect chemistry, lover
MxPx - angels, you're on fire
Relient K - sadie hawkins dance, the scene and herd, forgiven, I need you, give until there's nothing left, high of 75, getting into you
Stellar Kart - Livin on a prayer, me and jesus, hold on
The Afters - beautiful love, you, never going back to ok
The Almost - Southern weather, amazing because it is
Bands that sound like Linkin Park - Songs I like form them
Anberlin - fin, godspeed, ready fuels, the feel good drag
Decyfer Down - crash, fight like this, break free
Demon Hunter - carry me down, deterioate
Kids in the way - fiction
Pillar - bring me down, frontline, get back, turn it up, state of emergency, tradegy, awake, when tomorrow comes
P.O.D. - southtown, here we go, going in blind, alive, addicted, if it wasn't for You, shine with me
Skillet - Collide, Comatose, Saviour, rebirthing, whispers in the dark,
Subseven - Emotion, blinking lights, Free to conquer, faded letters
12 Stones - anthem for the underdog, photograph, stay, far away, shadows, lifeless
If you like hardcore rock, check out bands like more of Demon Hunter and Underoath.

I would say the bands I know of that are closest to Linkin Park are probably Skillet and Thousand Foot Krutch.

There is a new band out on Tooth and Nail Records called The Becoming.They sound a lot like Linkin Park.

Well, you know who I'm going to suggest....
The Girls are from Chicago. Just like Fall Out Boy.
They now have darker, edgier, more "metallic" stuff like Song For The Broken on Silent. Someone even compared them to Linkin Park (not named after the Chicago park??) on iTunes...not on a positive way, but still.
And, they're an all-girl band with guts and aggressive music. What's not to like? Try BG.

Don't listen to secular music but you have the most suggestions to what sounds like these two bands you DON'T listen to. Hmmmmm. Looks like you must have "soiled" your ears a few times!

I talked to my nephew, and he said if you like Fall Out Boy, you will like a Christian group called "The Wedding".Check them out, and see what you think!!
