Now you know the source of my avatar, GNM.

Remember, you can eat an elephant one bite at a time. I have found it AMAZING how God will step in and change the dynamics by cancelling a class or something to give me just the time I need to finish.

I'll be praying!

Elephant... Ewwww!! Nasty! But seriously, I'm praying that some things happen because I tried to cancel out of a meeting tonight and couldn't... and tried to take care of some business on Monday, but that didn't work out, so now I have to go out tomorrow morning. And I have to go back to the grocery store too... Deeeep breath!!! Mornings are my best time to study... NOT be running errands!!

I think the urge to scream is slowly fading... I just finished my discussion post, so now it's to the kitchen to clean up after my non-dinner. I'm glad for those sound-reduction pillows!! LOL And I'm sure my neighbor is too... I live in a duplex.

I hope you aced it, eaglelady!

I have two papers, a presentation and a final all by Wednesday. I'm still working on the papers. My goal is to finish them both tonight, then spend the next two days on the presentation, and then hit the notes for the final. This is all for one class too...crazy!

Hope you did well, Eaglelady... come back and let us know.

Karlie, it sounds like you've got quite a load going on right now.

I'm still struggling with motivation... if I don't get it together soon, I'll be pulling an all-nighter to get this done!!

I am soooo there with you. Michelle! I have no idea what my problem is lately, but I have to be seriously under the gun before I can make myself move! Apparently having only three days left to get everything done is not close enough to the trigger for me

Same here!! Mine is due by midnight tonight... but thank goodness I'm feeling driven now!! Why couldn't I have done this three days ago???? Now, as soon as I figure out what this is, I'll give you a dose of it.

Yay! My semester is over, the final is done. With a good professor, I did well in math class. So glad that's over. I'm not taking a class next semester, a project deadline we have coming up will be enough to deal with. I'll be planning carefully what my next step is, though. I have a couple more gen-ed classes, then everything I take will be in my major. It's so exciting to be at this point. One class at a time may be slow, but doesn't slow and steady still end the race?

I hope everyone got their papers done, and things went well for finals.

October, I'm not a fan of science class myself. I enjoy learning about scientific things, but remembering terms and being tested on that stuff ... that's why I dread having to take biology, but I can only put it off so long.

I didn't pass the class. I did well on the final and final paper, but after all the grades were added up, I got 76.5 % in the class which constitutes a C+. I need a B- or better to pass. So I got dropped from the program. I have to look for other opportunities now. So please pray for God to guide me. I know when God closes one door, he opens another and so maybe God has better palns for me. thanks.

I am so sorry, eaglelady!! I know you've worked hard in that class and that must be a disappointment. I'll be praying that God opens doors for you!

Eaglelady - I'm so sorry. Is there any way that you can appeal it - or is there a way to ask them if you can give it another try somehow?

I'm sorry to hear that! Is there an adviser you can talk to?

My two 20 page papers are in. I just have a final. I'm relaxing now. I was crazy last week.

eaglelady, I'm so sorry. I know how disappointing that must be :( I will be praying for you, that God leads and directs in the way He would have you go.

I have my last paper done and ready to hand in...my presentation and final exam are tomorrow night, then 2 blessed weeks off. Not the whole month off I am used to, but I'll take the two weeks and be happy for them!

I did go in to talk to the teacher, and she didn't budge. She added it up and showed me the results. She said she was going to send an official letter. In the meantime, I I went on to Blackboard and it shows I was dropped. so I have some ideas of what to do but this is the program I wanted to be in.

so I am looking into other programs but need three letters of recommendation. There is the Library Sciences program at APU, the Music Performance MM at APU and there is the Harvard Extension in International Relations, which doesn't require three letters of rec but you have to pass the first three classes with a B. So that's where I am at today. still praying for guidance and peace.

I have finished all my papers and work for my classes and, while this may be a bit preliminary, I think I got an A in both of my classes this past 8 weeks!! I basically hole'd myself up in my house since Thanksgiving, which wasn't good for me I know, and worked on assignments. LOTS of writing assignments, especially towards the end. But I made it through!!!

Isn't that a releif, Michelle?? Good for you! I finished last Wednesday night and feel like I have some breathing room again. I think I got an A in my last class too, but won't have a definite answer for another week or so.

as some of you know, I didn't pass my Intro to grad Studies class. I got a 76.5% which constitutes a C+, and I needed a B or better to pass. I got the letter yesterday that I was officially dismissed. So now I am looking into other programs, and applying for financial aid and starting again. Anyways, prayer that I find a good program and a job because my unemployment ran out and I need work. Thank you.

also, there is a really good article on the front page of Crosswalk.com by Charles Stanley about Finding Your Potential
