ORIGINAL: CindySc I'm just so thankful today that God loves us the way he does, so thankful for Jesus who sees our heartache and pain and cares so deeply for us. We have much to be thankful for. Yes. Yes. O Lord, along with Cindy and peaceofGod I am so thankful for Jesus who sees our heartache and pain and cares so deeply for us. I am also grateful for the wonderful, spirit-filled service at church yesterday morning for my cousin who was commissioned to go out into the fields that are ripe for harvest. The Holy Spirit was so evident that this rather conservative church congregation wept openly, including the pastor, and prayed out loud for my cousin, surrounding her with love and strength. The service went very long and yet no one was eager to leave. It is such a privilege to partner with a real life missionary who is willing to lose her own life for the sake of taking the message of salvation throughout Africa and Asia. Thank You, Father, for Jesus and the message of hope for the lost.

I'm thankful for the strength God gives me every day. Sometimes I'm really tired on Mondays, first day back at work after the weekend, and then the nursing home. When we go there, it's several hours on your feet, there isn't always a place to sit down, sometimes there is no time to eat before like last night. But God gave me strength and then what a special treat it was to get home and my daughter had tried out a new recipe... delicious. I'm also very thankful to have heard from Gentlenatured1 this morning..

I am thankful God's wisdom and knowledge is so much higher than any of ours. We often trust the medical world to give us 100% accurate information and assume they know what is best for us, but they often make mistakes. God does not make mistakes and gives me guidance in making decisions about my health and the health of my family. I thank Him so much for that guidance.

Thankful that your word tells us that your children will know your voice. I hear so many voices in this world telling me all kinds of things, but yours is the voice I would rather hear above all others. I'm thankful for that still small voice, that impression on my heart that lets me know what to do. Thank you Lord. I'm also thankful that the rattle, rattle in my car wasn't there this morning, sure did not want to take it for more repairs. SMILE

I'm thankful today for getting to see firsthand how God blesses someone when they do something for another. I had hired someone to come out and do some tree trimming and work on my roof yesterday. He already had given me a price for the work and it seemed fair to me. While they were there, the neighbor saw the good job they did and asked if they would please come over and trim their trees also, so they were happy that they got extra work. After I had paid him and he started to leave he wanted to put extra shingles into my garage, he said you won't ever have to buy any shingles again, you will always have these. They ended up being quite expensive, and he told me how much he had paid for them. It did not even click in my mind until after he was gone that he had made hardly anything from helping me because of the price of the shingles. I was thinking I need to give them more money, I didn't give them enough, then I remembered the extra work and I realized that God had rewarded them for what they had done and taken care of them and me both. Thank you Lord.

I'm thankful today that a friend from church came over and we went out to breakfast at IHOP. We had a wonderful time of fellowship.

Dear Lord, Thank you for bringing me a little bird yesterday morning and my newly purchased (plastic!) bird feeder, newly stuffed with white safflower! My cardinals, chickadees and wrens love it, while those food-eating machines, the black birds, don't like it. Hallahleuiah! Bring on the cardinals, chicks, titmouses, yellow finches (thistle hanging for them too) and wrens, dear Lord! It was a joy to see one.

So thankful for the wonderful fellowship during Bible Study this morning and the worship service afterward. Thankful that You are leading me, Lord, to a new Bible honoring church family. Thankful that You are opening my heart to new possibilities and that all things are possible through Jesus. Thankful that Jesus is coming again . . . . soon!
