ORIGINAL: prayn4u for new members of this forum. Welcome, womanofGOD284! and thankful for each day which brings more sheep into the flock! and also thankful that a certain family member of mine has responded in a loving manner to some not so good news. Like Cindy said, "you sense God doing something special in their life." HalleluYah! I have to agree with this prayer and join in welcoming you womanofGod284! I also want to thank you Lord that you are love.

ORIGINAL: peaceofGod Thankful that my brother-in-law may be going home today from the hospital after his 6x bypass surgery. Thank You, Father. Also, thankful for the scripture peaceofGod shares in his signature today... 2 Chronicles 20:17 You will not have to fight this battle. Take up your positions; stand firm and see the deliverance the LORD will give you, O Judah and Jerusalem. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Go out to face them tomorrow, and the LORD will be with you.'"

ORIGINAL: CindySc Thankful also for the idea that just popped into my head last night after struggling all day long yesterday trying to figure out how to do something at work. It was a simple solution that I don't know why I didn't think of it before. Thank you Lord. Thank you, Father.

I am thankful that I am a child of the most high God. I am also thankful that he wakes up each morning to begin a new day with him. I am thankful that he has given me the Grace to be able to do the things that I couldn't do once. Those are: Walking, cleaning, washing dishes, opening bottles/canned food, driving, etc. U see, I was once afflicted w/RA and God is now healing every joint in my body, PRAISE GOD! The very little things people take for granted can sometimes vanish in the blink of an eye, but it takes the might working hand of God to overcome, HALLELUJAH! So, for this and among a lot of other reasons, I AM TRULY GRATEFUL that my Lord Jesus Christ took upon himself my afflictions so that I may be healed. THANK YOU JESUS

Thankful for the testimony above of healing and thankfulness. Thankful for the feeling of refreshment I had yesterday when I left the church I visited, the liberty from the past that I felt there and the feeling I had that I had truly been to church coupled with a sense from my heart that God may not lead me back the way I came, but forward to higher ground. I'm also thankful that God has given us technology to be able to do things we could never do before. I have never been in a church until yesterday who had the ability to live feed in a missionary family who once were part of their church but had gone on the mission field and talk to them and see them on a screen just like they were right there.

I'm so thankful for God's protection. Yesterday the wind had blown things all around in my yard and as I was picking them up one of those plants with the sharp edges poked me right in the eye. I felt it before I saw it. I figured when I went in to look at it, that I would be horrified by what I saw, but there was not a scratch, not a red spot, nothing, isn't God good?
