Charlie...thank you...I don't have a lot to offer but I do have the ability to pray!!!
I ask for prayer for my eldest son...I just posted in Geezers about his situation. I'm optimistic that he's finally putting a plan together for his life and actually following through.
Also I ask for prayer for my husband...it appears he's having some health issues with his bloodpressure. He will be 45 next month and has a bad family history of heart and bloodpressure problems.

Thank you prayer warriors. Update on hubby...again I posted this info in the Geezers thread. He will have a CT of the head tomorrow afternoon to rule out a growth on his adrenal gland. Doctor thinks the elevated BP and other symptoms he's been experiencing point toward that. If that is the case he said it's likely benign. He is also having other lab work done to check on some other factors. This morning when I took his BP it was 148/98...better but still not good. Again thank you for your prayers.

I have a request:
A lady that I go to church with told me yesterday that her mom is not expected to survive. She has cancer, she had before and God healed her, it has returned and she has been on chemo for a while, but they went to the doctor the other day and they told her that they are going to give her two more rounds of chemo that she has left, and that is it because her body will not respond to anything else. She didn't tell me how long they are expecting her to live, but Pam is really upset about it, and so is her mom. Please keep them in your prayers...I believe that the God we serve is still in the Miracle Business!!! I believe that He can turn this around and she will come out of this healed!!

Lord, we come to You today asking for Your help and strength. We pray that You will give us peace and comfort during the trying times. Help us to understand each other and know that while at times we may appear light hearted our hearts are burdened with the prayer requests here. At times a little laughter can refresh our hearts and minds but at the same time when our loved onces are in serious circumstances it is hard to find anything humorous. Help us to know that the devil will use these times to step on our frayed nerves and make us more uneasy.
Give us understanding and wisdom as we look to each other for help and encouragement. Let us be mindful of the stress and heartaches of those around us. Give us joy in the midst of our trials, give us peace in the midst of the storm, give us love for each other and compassion for those around us.
Lord, there are so many needs here. Sickness, pain, financial, cast out the fear that accompanies these things. We know there is no fear in perfect love and You give us perfect love. Fear is from satan and we pray that You will bind him now in these situations. Give us victorous spirits even as we face the enemy. He may win battles but he has lost the war.
Today I pray for Your guidance, Your love and Your wisdom in all we do. Lord, be with Charlie and open the door You would have him go through. Lord, enourage his heart and bless him abundantly. Be with Lynn and her husband, give the doctors wisdom, give Lynn & hubby the peace that only You can give. We pray for healing to his body.
Be with the Donna and her husband at this time, give healing and strength. Give them Your strength. Lord be with Christi, this situation right now seems too much but nothing is too much for You. Help her to know Your perfect will and give her Your help in all she does.
I pray for Alicia, Lord, she is still in pain and now has been out of work for 4 days. I know You have never failed us and I don't expect You to start now but at times it is dark and confusing. Help us to look to You the one true light.
We thank You Lord for the answers to these prayers. We know that You are faithful! We ask these things in Jesus name. Amen

Update on hubby...
Doctor called him with the preliminary CT results as he was pulling into the driveway. It was negative for any bleeding or anything else that could cause his headaches. He will continue with the labwork to rule out Pheochromocytoma. If that comes back negative he will treat him for hypertension. I read up on Pheochromocytoma today...I could see where the doctor could come up with that possible diagnosis. My husband has experienced 7 out of the 8 symptoms. Again thank you for your prayers.
