Okay... I'm having a dumb moment. I either don't get the joke, or I've been sorely misinformed. I thought it was Mason-Dixon??

Euty is right you would probably have to be an aldie to get it. Kerr changed the names from Mason-Dixon as it is recorded in history to Manson-Nixon. This would have been Charles Manson Sleeze and former President Richard Nixon. These are two rather famous quotes one from each man.

It is. I'm just being silly. That's what we call it here (where I am not in the den) just cause we're weird and don't care who knows it.

Actually, my favorite Lion gets the credit for changing it.

This may not be the time but I want to go on record here saying there have been several good men posting in the den. Some of them still post here. Kerrlaw, Wintery, GroupW, Benelchi and Armydude come to mind right off. I may not always agree with them, you may not always agree with them but they are good men none-the-less. Each of them possess traits or have obtained levels in certain traits I wish I had

thanks Qtman, great! So you are not the only respected and distinguished mensch in here!

You think we can clone those for sale, too ? sure, we know, nobody is ideal. Boots or a dress can be "Ideal", not a man, no alive husband is ever perfect.

ooohhh ... did I see talk of a Den get-together??? Cool!!! I'm already going to FOT in August (for those of you who don't know, it's a bunch of the homeschoolers from CW getting together on someone's acreage in NY for a week of camping and fun) I *love* get-togethers ... but rarely get to go because of the kids. I have a feeling if we did do a Den thing, I wouldn't get to hold Caleb at all ... everyone else would be arguing over who gets to hold the Den prayer-baby!!!

It isn't pretty, Terri. LINK

If you start getting upset, stop reading. Everything was just pretty much repeated after the first 2 or 3 pages and it's not worth upsetting yourself over.

Just for the record as far as I know my wife nor my daughers have not been sexually assaulted. To anything I post regarding that matter is from what I have seen on my job and is not anything personal. I don't have any personal biases to deal with here. It has all been professional. My youngest daughter was slapped by a boyfriend one time. I do believe that young man knows in his brain and heart the benefits to him for never doing that again. His parents can't take credit for it though I am paoud to say it is a lesson I taught him.

Would my badge and gun get me preferential treatment. Would I get to hold the prayer-baby first and most?
