ooohhh ... did I see talk of a Den get-together??? Cool!!! I'm already going to FOT in August (for those of you who don't know, it's a bunch of the homeschoolers from CW getting together on someone's acreage in NY for a week of camping and fun) I *love* get-togethers ... but rarely get to go because of the kids. I have a feeling if we did do a Den thing, I wouldn't get to hold Caleb at all ... everyone else would be arguing over who gets to hold the Den prayer-baby!!!

Would my badge and gun get me preferential treatment. Would I get to hold the prayer-baby first and most?

Nope ... pumpkin cheesecake would get you preferential treatment ...

Well if you want to give him pumpkin cheesecake to hold your baby, I'll take some too!

Can someone give me a link to the original thread that spawned all these others?

It isn't pretty, Terri. LINK

If you start getting upset, stop reading. Everything was just pretty much repeated after the first 2 or 3 pages and it's not worth upsetting yourself over.

I didn't get through Page 2. I started getting that naseuous feeling again.

After all of those tackles, I should be at least near the top of the list...

I'm sure we can work something out ... But based on Den history, you might want to have some football gear stored in your trunk!!!

The only place I went today was to get the boys from school and to get gas. I was too freaked out to. I even had dinner delivered.

One last post before I go to bed. It should be quite clear by now I can't post in certain folders and polls. But I see most of those who do post there also post here so I want to ask all of you a question.

If you lock your doors tonight and go to bed and at a later time someone known to you or unknown to you kicks the door down comes in and with violence or the threat of violence rob you and takes all your valuables and prized possessions. Is that your fault?

If any of you answer yes to that question then just continue blaming yourself for the sexual assaults you have been forced to live with.

However I submit to you that is exactly what happen. Someone either known to you or unknown to you broke into YOUR house and robbed you of your most prized and valuable possession at the time. Your youth and innocence. So if you believe you were not at fault in the first scenario then you are certainly not at fault in the second. Because you see they are really the same. I just worded them differently.

Now I am going to bed. My prayer is that all of you sleep in peace and comfort tonight knowing God loves you and so do I.

Well, Dear Ones, I'm out for the night, too. I need 7 hours of sleep. But 8 feels so good, I try for 9.

Be blessed and at peace, my friends.

Well Denizens, I should get going as well. Need to do some house**** before I go to bed, as that woman is coming over at 9am. It's going to be a LONG night, as we have kids who are under the weather, cats who are hacking up hairballs, and dogs who are just going NUTS over nothing.

Although I feel the need to post something which is making us quite happy ... we came home from the store today and saw a For Sale sign in front of our neighbour's house!!! We have a shared driveway, and they have actually come out with tape measure in hand to make sure we weren't so much as an inch on their side. These "neighbours" also accuse us of "stealing their snow" whenever dh shovels the entire driveway (these people are well into their 70s ... if I were 70 and someone wanted to shovel for me, I'd say THANKS!) They also scream at the kids if they accidentally step on their side of the drive when getting into the van. So it's up for sale and hopefully it will go quickly!!

Hey Gary!

Terri, I am doing well. Thank you for asking! I just got back home from Bible study. I'm so blessed to be a part of that church. I'm really thankful. One odd thing is that the subject of sexual abuse came up in Bible study.... something that has hardly come up there at all since I've been going. I just found it odd.
