Thank you and I will but I don't get here as often as I'd like to. I spend a lot of time sending Spiritual Messages through emails to all my friends.
May you have a God-Filled day and speak about Jesus to others...

The big divide between atheists and agnotics is doubt. Most atheists when pressed about it would probably consider themselves agnostic because one can not prove there is no god. Agnostics can't deal with certainty. Atheists who say 100_% there is no god mirrors the certainty of those who know how many virgins they will get in heaven.

The problem is that a lot of people who call themselves atheists today say that they don't say that there is no God but that that's something that can't be known so they ignore the issue altogether.

I don't know if that's atheists softening their position or what.

I dont think its softening their position, I think that them realizing the facts. Atheist can't not prove their is no god yet many of them will say they are 100% sure there is not. I dont think they should ignore the issue. I think they should speak their mind and their belief to whomever they want.

Atheists confuse themselves. Are they atheists or are they really agnostics? Can atheist defined really be an atheist?

I talk to them and all they do is get mad at me so I don't talk to them anymore.

Pyromaniacs Blog is doing a series on atheists. They are doing a really good job in addressing their arguments.

I think most unbelievers would define themselves as agonistics if hard pressed. Of course all agnostics are atheists, in that, we dont believe there is a higher power because it cant proven but at the same time many of us wont say there isnt a higher power because that can't be proven either. A lot of Atheists just define themselves as such even though they are really agnostic. However, some people will say for certain there is no god and these people are what I would consider atheists, though I dont know many.

So, have you guys ever encountered different types of Atheists? Atheists who can be saved versus Atheists who are too far gone?

I used to be atheist, but not like your brother's girlfriend but more like your brother. I didn't know there were types of atheists out there. I became a Christian 5 years ago. For me, it was one day non-believer, next day believer.

I think no one is too far gone. Continually pray for them. I have a co-worker who doesn't believe in God. I pray for her and everyone else I know who's not Christian, that they come to Christ some day and know He IS real.

I think the best way to show those who don't believe in God there is a God, is to show your faith, walk the talk. What I mean is...I just try to live my life how He wants of me. Yet, I also am not afraid to talk about my faith around those who aren't Christian. I talk of God, church, and how He works in my life without fear of what others think. I simply let God use me for His purpose.

Hi.. this is my first post in the site, other than in introductions.

i was looking thru what there is and came across this thread.

First off, I am not a religious person; I guess you could say I am an atheist, tho from my point of view, that is defining me in negative terms. Well, not to go into that now..

Anyway, i see that everyone posting here is a believer. None of you think as I do, possibly you would be interested in how i see things. I am not too shy to say!
