Please hear the earnest cries of ladyfish, and others in the same situation, answering their prayers in ways that are better than anything we could ever think to ask for. I pray that You will intervene in ladyfish's marriage and bring Michael home. I am praying with her as she asks that her marriage be restored and that their lives will be changed in this restoration so that they can be a witness and testimony for Your Glory.

I lift up my daughter's marriage asking that You give her the strength to stand on Your Word. Please renew her marriage, bring my son-in-law to salvation through Jesus, and remove his bondage to alcohol so that they marriage will have a firm foundation on which to build a life together.

I also lift up Cindy's daughter's marriage, Kris's son and daughter-in-law, as well as so many others. Please, Lord, renew and protect these marriages according to Your Perfect Will.

Protect marriage in this country and make it so those lawmakers who are trying to turn marriage into an abomination will be voted out of office. Thank You, Lord, for hearing and answering our prayers.

(Before I offer up my prayer, I want to give you all an update. This week on Tuesday, my DIL gave her life to Christ and was baptized into him in the afternoon after she got off work. Had the problems that she is currently facing not have happened, she says honestly she would not be paying attention to God, but through this terrible strike that satan has made on her and her marriage and family, she has turned her entire life over to Christ.

We had taken her and our 2 year old granddaughter on a much needed little vacation with us and another couple friend and the week was spent ministering to the needs we all had. It was a fantastic week!)

Oh Lord, I thank you for hearing the prayers of these spouses who are standing for their marriages. You have established the family Lord, and it is your will we know to restore broken families to you. For this reason these spouses will continue to stand and pray and fast for their marriages. So Father I ask that you provide the strength and the wisdom of all of these to get through another day while they miss their spouse and while life's uncertainties are made even more uncertain, not knowing whether or not today is the day. Lord help each one to continue to trust and grow in you. Help each one to shine your light and to be a beacon on a hill, and that their spouse may see and know that this is something new.

And Lord I pray that these spouses who have left their family, I pray that you create in their hearts an overwhelming desire to have what once was, and better. To come to you and ask forgiveness for their waywardness, and that the restoring will begin. Where children are involved Father, I pray that forgiveness and trust can be rebuilt. And Father I pray that these children while they are without a mommy or daddy at home full time, I pray that you fill every need that their life requires, and that you wrap your arms around them, protect them and make them whole.

Lord, I lift up to you my own family situation. I pray that the efforts of my son and this other female have obstacles placed in front of them at every turn. I pray that their efforts to achieve anything become frustrated. I pray that my son turn his heart to you and remember those lessons he was taught as a boy growing up. And I pray that he sees the change in DIL and I pray that he will remember first, his first love, Jesus, and then that he will cease to neglect his duties as husband and father. While he spends time with his daughter Father, I pray you place in his heart the need to have mommy there too to share in the fun, as a family once again.

And Lord while we wait on you to allow son to go through these things, I pray that our little granddaughter's needs will be met in every way. That she will not suffer greatly for this ordeal. I pray also Lord for my daughter in law as she takes a stand for her marriage and faces opposition from her dad and whoever else advises her that she's foolish to do such a thing. Give her strength in this opposition Father, and resolve. For we know that with you all things are possible.

Please give me and my husband the strength and the endurance to be there for her in her dark moments and in her happy moments as well. Be her husband while her's is absent in her life, and thank you Father, for her beautiful spirit and her smile and her way with her daughter. We don't understand Father as you know, how my son can leave such a beautiful person inside, and the family surrounding this situation has lost such respect for my son Lord, you know, and I pray that when he does come to repentance that as time goes on that all those relationships will be restored. Especially that of DIL's dad.
